Monday, 5/30/2016, the USA markets are closed for the Memorial Day holiday. For some it’s a day off and a long weekend to enjoy. For many of us it’s a day set aside for remembering the people, family members, friends, or brothers in arms, who died while serving in the country’s armed forces. … like my younger brother, who also enlisted during the Vietnam (War, Conflict, Police Action, … debacle ???) … buried in a military cemetery in Nevada.
To all members of the US military, past and present, and especially to their families … THANK YOU for your service and sacrifices.
The top shield is the shoulder patch of the U.S. Army’s 101st Airborne / Air Assault, a.k.a. “Screaming Eagles”. The bottom shield is the U.S. Army’s “Jungle Expert” patch.
Whether you served in the U.S.. Army, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U. S. Marines, U.S. Coast Guard, or Seabees (United States Naval Construction Forces) … thanks !
To all … here’s wishing you a happy and safe Memorial Day weekend!
